The results are in: our amazing Ehuola teams represented their community and their cultures in this year's competition, and had an awesome time doing it.
As late as mid-April, our kids were still hard at work trying to master their recipes - and still coming up with some mistakes. But they doubled down on their efforts, practicing at home and with their teammates in the Roots community kitchen, diligently working on their food handling, their teamwork and communication, and their presentation. In the end, their hard work paid off, as the judges loved their food.
We're also so pleased to be able to participate in this competition alongside such awesome, dedicated youth teams and the community organizations they represent. See you next year, 808 Junior Chef Showdown!
